Teenage years are full of decisions, transitions, and pressures, from academics and friendships to identity and plans. In the midst of all this, it’s easy to feel uncertain or overwhelmed. But Proverbs 3:5–6
(AMP) offers timeless wisdom: “Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart and do not rely on your insight or understanding. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, and He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].”
This scripture encourages teens to lean on God, especially when life feels confusing. Trusting Him doesn’t mean all challenges will disappear, but it means you won’t face them alone. God promises to direct your steps when you turn to Him, not just in prayer, but in every part of your life.
At SFWSLI, we help young women understand that faith is not just for Sundays—it’s for everyday life. Faith helps you make wise choices when peers push you in the wrong direction. Faith gives you strength to say no to compromise and yes to purpose. And faith keeps you grounded when emotions or disappointments try to shake your confidence.
Challenges are part of life, but they are not the end of the story. With God, every obstacle becomes an opportunity to grow stronger, wiser, and more dependent on Him. When teens trust the Lord with their hearts and choices, He leads them in the way they should go, often with peace that makes no sense to the world.
SFWSLI encourages teens to build a personal relationship with God through prayer, Bible study, and mentorship. These spiritual tools equip young women to face life’s pressures with courage and clarity. Dear teen, you are not alone in your challenges. God sees, knows, and cares about every detail. Trust Him, lean on Him, and He will guide your path—one step at a time, with grace and strength for every season
